The first study surveyed teen drivers and found that teens who are most likely to drive with multiple passengers shared the following characteristics: considered themselves "thrill-seekers," perceived their parents as not setting rules or monitoring their whereabouts, and possessed a weak perception of the risks associated with driving in general.

Tens of thousands of children will start school at 10am in a ground-breaking new experiment by Oxford University to see if later classes can improve exam results. GCSE students from more than schools across England will take part in the four-year project based on scientific evidence which suggests teenagers are out of sync with traditional school hours. A pilot study at Monkseaton High School in North Tyneside in found that starting an hour later improved grades in core subjects by 19 per cent. Under the new project, more than 30, pupils will be invited to start school later.
